The warmth of the summer heat is moderated by cool Pacific Ocean breezes in the day. Winter temperatures are generally mild with some seasonal snowfall. Rainfall totals average 23" a year. Overall a nice four season climate, such a location is prized for quality grape growing. Current vineyard production is 25 acres and another 20 acres planted and managed by Alex for our production needs.
Being in the mountains with the scenic views and crisp fresh air gives one a different view of the diversity of San Diego County, and within he region lies the famous Palomar Observatory, the expansive Anza-Borrego Desert State Park and historic Julian a gold rush mining town.
