A blend of two grapes that the original owners Gus & Helen planted in 1945, Syrah and Grenache. Silky smooth on the palate with medium body. Seasoned in American oak barrels. Great with all Italian dishes. Old Gus is a non-vintage blend: the current version was released on July 31, 2024, and is a 50/50 blend of Syrah and Grenache. Although listed as non-vintage, the wine is from all 2019-harvested grapes, so the wine was in barrel from early 2020 through early 2024.
